MESSAGE FROM THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

This plan was developed with the assistance and cooperation of many people and organizations. We trust that it will be accepted by, and implemented by, the population of our town with an eye toward a vision for our future.

This plan looks toward the future and defines, in relatively broad terms, the steps we will take to achieve our desired future.

It is intended that this will be a living plan, that is, it will be reviewed periodically and updated annually to ensure it’s viability and to lead us successfully down the road to the future.

Jan 15, 2006 – Recent business additions include Missoula Federal Credit Union, an ophthalmologist, an optometrist and a planned antique mall in the Creamery Building.

American Legion Post #94

Status:

Jan 10, 2006 – Town Council unanimously approved the park. Plan is for work to begin in spring and to have dedication on Memorial Day 2006.

Task # 2: Construct an outdoor basketball court.

Status:

Feb 2, 2006 – The asphalt for the court was pored last fall. The nets will be installed and court lines painted upon return of warm weather.

Task # 3: Construct a play structure in Father Ravalli Park.

Feb 2, 2006 – The Stevensville Town Council has approved the plan and fund-raising is underway.
