Arts and Crafts and Honey Vendor Invitation

 

 

Invitation

September 11, 2010, Stevensville, Montana will hosting the second Annual NorthWest HoneyFest. The event will be held at the Lewis and Clark Park and it will be a day filled with honey tasting, Food, beer and wine sampling, Bee & honey Education, Live Radio Remotes, Music, Arts and crafts and more... In 2009, over 3,000 people attended the one day event. You are cordially invited to apply for a booth space in the NorthWest HoneyFest.   Upon receipt of space request and payment you will be notified of your space location or ID.


Booth Information

Booth sizes are 10X10 spaces and are $25.00 (plus an application fee of $5) for SMSA Members and $40 ( plus an application fee of $5) for non-members. Applications are due (Not Postmarked) by Wednesday, September 1, 2010. You must provide your own cover (tent shade, etc). Booth space is available to honey vendors,  hand crafted merchandise, arts, crafts, instruments, photography, and other handmade items with a "bee" or "honey" theme. Vendor selection is based upon the information provided in your application, so please be thorough in your description. Your application and deposit must be received by the deadline, or you will not be considered for the fair.

 

Setup will begin at 7:30am and will run until 9:30am. You must be checked in by 9am. The event will run from 10am  to 5pm. Area clean up is the responsibility of the vendor. If you leave early or leave a messy area, you will not be allowed to return for next year’s fair.

 

Parking

 

A parking area will be provided at no charge. Parking availability is not guaranteed. If you do not park in the designated area, your vehicle may be ticketed and/or towed at your expense. We cannot help you if you park illegally or in an unauthorized location.

 

Products and Sales Restrictions/Rules

  • All items must be personally produced, designed and crafted by the artist(s) present at the fair.
  • The majority of the crafted items must have a bee or honey theme.
  • Agents or sales representatives are prohibited.
  • Kits, imports, mass-produced items, plants, food ( except for honey), or rummage is not allowed.
  • Booth structure must fit into assigned space. Booths are prohibited from extending into aisles or neighboring booth spaces.
  • The fair hours are 10:00am-5pm Saturday. NO EARLY BREAKDOWN.
  • Artists and honey vendors must attend to their booths the entire day.
  • Vendors must check in between 7:30am and 9:30am – no early check in – and must be set up by 9:30 am.
  • If an artist leaves the fair before 5pm, he/she will not be allowed to participate in NorthWest HoneyFest again.

 

Information Shortlist Rundown

  • Fair date is Saturday, September 11, 2010,  from  10:00am – 5pm. Setup and check in begin at 7:30.
  • Booth size is 10X10, and is $25 for SMSA Members and $40 for non-members. A non-refundable $5 application fee is required with your application in our office by 5pm Wednesday, September 1, 2010.
  • Vendors must provide own sunshade/rain protection.
  • Selection of vendors is limited to hand-made and bee/honey themed merchandise.
  • Parking will be provided at no cost, but illegal or unauthorized parking may be ticketed/towed at owner’s expense.
  • Stevensville Main Street Association will not be held responsible for any theft, damage, or injury to merchandise or vendors.

 

SMSA reserves the right to refuse any application/applicant deemed inappropriate for this event.
