Stevensville Civics Club -- A volunteer organization that promotes the involvement of citizens of all ages in projects and activities which enhance the quality of life in our community. Current programs include the Creamery Picnic, the 4th of July Pig-nic, Parade of Lights, and the maintenance of the Lewis and Clark Park. Business Women's Network - A diverse group of
women volunteers that conduct fundraisers through out the year to
raise money for the Bill and Martha Burke Memorial Scholarship. This
scholarship was established for Stevensville Senior Girls. Annual
events include a soup and salad luncheon and the October Fashion

Citizen Center - Offering a myriad of social
programs and services for area seniors. Programs include Bingo,
monthly birthday parties and the Meals on Wheels program. The Meals
on Wheels program is especially need of volunteers for packaging
meals and most important meal delivery. Stevensville
Foundation - A non-profit
corporation, the foundation provides grants for community projects
and programs, examples are the North Valley Library, the Senior
Center and the Stevensville Museum. The largest project in the works
is acquiring the land for and the subsequent building of the
Stevensville Community Center. The annual Festival of Trees is the
major fundraiser for the Foundation. It takes over 150 volunteers to
coordinate the event. North
Valley Public Library - Having a community
library is essential! Help preserve our library by donating
carpentry skills for bookshelves and building refurbishment.
Shelving, cataloging, and reading hours are other opportunities, as
well as helping with the annual Book Sale in February. Genesis
House - A transitional home for women with
mental illness, teaching them the life skills necessary to regain
independence. Volunteer opportunities include driving the women to
Riverview House in Missoula for job training, one on one mentoring
and companionship. donations of household items and clothing are
always welcome. Stevensville
School Volunteers - Recognizing the value of
multi-generational relationships, Stevensville Family Resource
center mixes adults with children in programs including reading,
tutoring, and field trips. Help with arts and crafts at the after
school program. Seniors, ask about volunteer compensation programs! Stevensville
Volunteer Fire Department - Help keep us
safe, volunteer firefighters are always needed! Special training is

Partners - A basic need in life is
nourishment, help the less fortunate in our community not only by
donating non-perishable food items but also by donating your time to
help organize, catalog and distribute the goods. Stevensville
Booster Club - The Booster club exists to
support and enhance the extra-curricular activities of the students
in our community. the main activity is fundraising which includes
the Christmas Bazaar, sale of school spirit clothing, and the 50/50
raffle at home games. The funds provide money for updating facilities
and equipment and for clubs and teams to travel to competitions.
Money is also donated to local non-profits. Stevensville
Main Street Association - The Main Street
Association facilitates the projects, preservation and
revitalization of our town. The Four Points approach of
Organization, Promotion, Design and Economic Restructuring provides
stability to build and maintain the long-term effort of
revitalization, creates excitement downtown, enhances the look of
our town and strengthens our current business economy. Any of the
four committees could use your expertise. it takes a team to sponsor
such events as First Friday and Clarks Days and future projects of a
Farmers Market and the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial. Stevensville Art & Sculpture Society - The Stevensville Art and Sculpture Society (S.A.S.S.) is a nonprofit contemporary art group organized for the active promotion, display and production of public art. It has grown into a network of artists and art supporters with the common goal of presenting fine art to the rural community of Stevensville, MT. S.A.S.S. has an annual birdhouse contest and December group art show. Members of S.A.S.S. display their artwork on the walls of Food Fetish.
